My client is enrolled in part-time studies. Why is DT Max calculating the education and textbook amounts on my client's Schedule 11 as a full-time student?

According to federal legislation, if your client is enrolled in part-time studies and qualifies for the disability amount or because of a mental or physical impairment certified by a health professional, your client may then claim the education and textbook amounts as a full-time student.

Hence, starting with tax year 2015, if your client is enrolled only in part-time studies and qualifies for the disability amount, DT Max would consider the part-time months as full time. A message in this regard is added in the page "Notes and diagnostics" of your client's file.
